For starters, and this is the biggest mistake that people make, you can not just purchase PLR material and pass it off as your own right out of the box. I mean you could, but then your product is no different from all the other PLR products out there coming from your particular material. To make your product unique, you do need to modify it slightly, which includes giving it a new cover, modifying the sales page slowly and rewriting some of the content.
